This was taken somewhere in Virginia on my phone. It's weird that I would use a cell phone to take a picture, especially when my phone has a camera on it that is about 0.5 MP. But nevertheless I did.
The idea was a challenge to myself. Can I still take a good photograph when I lose control? Can I make a photograph that is moving and successful when I lose the professional gear? Am I a photographer because of my equipment or because of the way I see the world? Do I need my big RB67 to make a good photograph or can I do it without any of the manual control I am used to?
The answer to these questions is up to you to decide. Personally I'm happy with what I can do with my phone. It's taught me simplicity which is lesson I thought I had already learned by forsaking digital for film and automatic for manual. Funny how things go isn't it?
