Woman in a BoxPosted by Paul Ricciardi (Rock Hill, United States) on 4 February 2007 in People & Portrait and Portfolio. So I shot this the other night watching television, the goal was to use a fast shutter speed to capture a woman confined not only within the television, but within a darkened room. I, surprisingly, got my exposure perfect on the first shot-f.8 and 1/125th of a second on B&W 400. As an added bonus, at such a shutter speed you don't get a full picture of what is on TV due to the refreshing of the picture, thus, it is a woman, confined in between refreshes, confined between a few pieces of glass, confined in a plastic box, in a wooden room, in a wooden house. Maybe I'm insane to have read so much into this.
