@Laurie: No you're not misunderstanding. Life's been a lot different for me up here, by that I mean I've left everything behind and started totally over. I can be whoever I want to since nobody here knows me with the exception of family and a few friends. And, yet, in this search for myself, and in this search for identity, I come to find myself searching more for a sense of meaning as opposed to a sense of identity. That sense of being alive, of a raison d'etre is something that, currently, alludes me. I guess I'm at my most bare right now, simply creating art in a somewhat depressed search for purpose.
