Picnic With Annie II

So here's another one of my semi-hippie, vegetarian picnic with Annie from Thursday. Like the last one, she's laughing again in this one. Annie's kind of my foil, I'm quiet and introverted, she's loud (in a good way) and extroverted. She laughs a lot, which is becoming rare in this world. Everyone seems so concerned with money, power, and material things that they've forgotten how to have fun. Annie hasn't, and that's what draws me to her as a person, and I tried to capture that while I was shooting pictures of her.

Oh, and the reason why I've typed so much about her is because I feel that portrait photography isn't about making someone appear beautiful on film or taking a good photo of their physical features. I feel that it's about connecting with them, making them feel comfortable and natural and then capturing what it is inside of them that makes them who they are. Thus, to be accurately critqued by the community here, I think I need to share a little about her.

Seems like there haven't been many people active over the last few days, I take it because it's Christmas time. I've never been a big fan of this whole organized religion thing, but Merry Christmas if you celebrate it.
