Following on yesterday's subject matter and themes, here's a second saturated shot of a flower.
I honestly don't have much to say today, noramlly I'm full of philosophical musings or reflections on life or simply photographic ramblings, but today I just am going to let the picture speak.
I went back through a few of your earlier posts where you were expressing your frustration in finding new things to shoot. I was running into the same rut myself...living in a suburb of NY and just not being able to find the time to travel to the country or the city quite as often as I would like, as well as just being overwhelmed with the constant demands of family and other obligations. But I found that photos of "ordinary" things like this one are beautiful and can provide a welcome release of creative juices. I recently obtained a real macro lens, and I have to say, if you can get one, do it! It really does make you look at ordinary things in a whole new light.
